Travis Kelce Sends 4 Word Message to Patrick Mahomes After Horrible Injury

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was seen limping off the field after taking a high-low hit in the fourth quarter of their game against the Cleveland Browns.

Mahomes was trying to execute a pass on fourth down when he was hit at the ankles by Browns defensive tackle Dalvin Tomlinson – before getting hit near the helmet by Browns DT Mike Hall Jr.

The Chiefs quarterback needed some help from teammates and training staff to get off the field. Cameras later caught Mahomes getting his ankles taped on the sidelines. When the Chiefs got the ball back, backup quarterback Carson Wentz entered the game.

Kansas City later listed Mahomes as questionable to return to the game with an ankle injury. It’s not like the Chiefs particularly needed Mahomes in that moment – up 21-7 late in the fourth quarter when he limped off. Travis Kelce refrained from giving out any information on the severity of Mahomes’ injury, but instead replied by saying “He’ll come back stronger” When he was questioned about how serious the injury might turnout to be

Eventually, the Chiefs held on for the same final score. After the game ended, Mahomes walked out of the locker room under his own power – but hopped on a cart to get taken to a medical room for further examinations and tests on his ankle.
