Travis Kelce Touches Down in Atlanta Ahead of Chiefs-Falcons Game

Donna Kelce's sweet response to question about Taylor Swift's family

Travis Kelce is back in black. On Saturday, Sept. 21, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34, landed in Atlanta in style, ahead of the team’s Sunday Night Football game against the Falcons.

Travis sported a sleek, all-black travel look, accessorized with silver chains and a watch, as seen in a video shared on the Chiefs’ official Instagram account.

He also rocked a vintage 1998 Zeus & Miles baseball cap that read, “HE GOT GAME,” which pays homage to Spike Lee’s movie of the same name. Travis finished his outfit with sunglasses and a pair of black leather backless shoes. Some fans theorized in the comments that his styling was Reputation-coded, referring to Taylor Swift’s 2017 album.

The instrumental version of d.higg’s song “Proud” played in the background of the Instagram clip, which captured Travis walking down the airplane’s stairs onto the tarmac, with his luggage in hand.

“@killatrav means business,” read the post’s caption. The Chiefs have been 2-0 so far this NFL season, beating the Baltimore Ravens in their home opener on Sept. 5, and then narrowly beating the Cincinnati Bengals on Sept. 15.

Despite the Chiefs’ hot start to the season, Travis has yet to score a touchdown. He got candid about his performance so far this season during the Sept. 18 episode of New Heights, the podcast he hosts with his brother, Philadelphia Eagles alum Jason Kelce.

“I used to get really, really pissed off and almost lose my cool,” Travis said about past games where he would become frustrated.

“I just like to play the game to such a high level of accountability that it’s just tough for me to deal with being mediocre or having stats that represent that,” he added.

The tight end has made four catches for 39 yards in the Chiefs’ first two games, but he is not letting those stats get to him. “It’s just for whatever reason, these past two games, it hasn’t gone that way for me, and that’s football, man. I’m not about to sit here and get frustrated about it,” he added on the podcast.

During the first two games, Swift, 34, was on hand to cheer on her boyfriend. She spent the season opener in a suite with Travis’ parents, Donna and Ed. She also brought her mom, Andrea, to the game on Sept. 15.
