Taylor Swift won big at the MTV Video Music Awards in September for her song “Fortnight.” The collaboration with fellow music icon Post Malone registered no less than seven wins in the VMAs for its epic music video, which included Video of the Year, Best Collaboration and Best Direction, to name a few.
The “Fornight” music video has now been nominated again for a major honor, this time recognized as one of the best videos by the Association of Independent Commercial Producers (AICP) for the upcoming 2025 AICP Post Awards.
What makes this extra special for Swift is the fact that it was she who directed the video, which is now being honored by commercial media producers.

“A masterpiece in motion-Fortnight deserves the spotlight!” a comment on X read.
“but i was told that it wasn’t a good movie last year and other MVs are better? in the end taydirector won,” said another.

Swift is currently up against “New Woman” by Lisa (feat. Rosalia), “Boa” and “Mamushi” both by Megan Thee Stallion, “Eusexua” by FKA twigs. “All My Love” and “feelslikeimfallinginlove” by Coldplay, “Flood” by Little Simz, “Angel of My Dreams” by Jade and “Denial is a River” by Doechii.
The winner will be announced by the AICP during the awards ceremony in June.
The nomination itself adds another feather to Swift’s cap, who these days has been preoccupied with her personal life. The 35-year-old has been on a bit of a music hiatus following her nearly two-year “Eras Tour” as she spends some much-needed quality time with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs.
Kelce currently has some time on his hands as well, with the NFL in its offseason, but both of them know that it’s only a matter of time before their demanding work schedules interfere with their relationship again.
As such, the two have reportedly been spending as much time as they can together and are cherishing their time away from the limelight while they still can.
