Travis Kelce Says It Was an 'Absolute Honor' to Be in a Pepsi Commercial with Megan Thee Stallion

“I’m so grateful to Pepsi for asking me to be a part of it,” the Kansas City Chiefs star said in a new clip posted on TikTok

With his new Pepsi ad, Travis Kelce is ecstatic!

The 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs player was all over his part in the beverage company’s new NFL commercial, “Make Your Gameday Epic,” where he stars alongside Josh Allen, Derrick Henry, Justin Jefferson, and Megan Thee Stallion.

“It’s an absolute honor to be a part of something like this,” Kelce said in the clip posted on Pepsi’s official TikTok page on Friday, Sept. 20. “I’m so grateful to Pepsi for asking me to be a part of it. Just getting the thumbs up that I could handle the load of being a gladiator, I guess.”

He added, “It’s such a cool experience, and I’m excited that I got the opportunity.”

Kelce can be seen getting dressed in his gladiator attire in the behind-the-scenes footage before heading from his trailer to the set.

Then, as he walks in front of cameras in a studio to film the campaign, he makes an appearance with a prop shield.

In other pictures, Kelce is seen frolicking on the set’s floor and yelling, “Are you ready?” while raising his shield in the air.

The crew applauds as Kelce completes his last scene of the day as the clip comes to a finish. He laughs and says, “It’s so cool man.” “Hey!”

The new Pepsi campaign honors the 2024–2025 NFL season and draws inspiration from the upcoming Ridley Scott film Gladiator II.

In the advertisement, which was directed by Scott’s son Jake Scott, 29-year-old Megan plays an empress, and Kelce, who plays a gladiator, the other athletes.

The three-minute clip showcases an epic battle to the music of “We Will Rock You (Megan Thee Stallion Version)”—a modern rendition of the Queen classic, sung by the rapper.
