Travis Kelce Learns a Surprising Fact About Having Babies on ‘Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?’

Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? is a spinoff of Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader? and on this week’s “I’m the Smartest Man Alive,” episode the new show invited back Pat, a man who flunked out twice previously. The first time was in March 2007 on his very first question, which was “What is the lowest level of the earth’s atmosphere?” It was multiple choice, but Pat got it wrong.

He got a second chance in December of that year, but again, he flunked out on his first question. So tonight, host Travis Kelce is giving Pat a chance to make a comeback and get redemption by inviting him for his third time, which will hopefully be a charm, to test his smarts.

Parade has an exclusive first look at Pat playing with former NFL quarterback and Amazon Thursday Night Football’s Ryan Fitzpatrick, obviously, having made it past his first question.

As Pat tries to figure out which question to answer next, Ryan tells him, “You’re wiser. You’re a father now.” Travis picks up on this asking, “Is that what happens when you have kids? You get smarter? That’s all I had to do to become brilliant?”

Ryan simply says, “Have a baby.” So far this season Taylor Swift’s name hasn’t been mentioned on the series, but that’s not stopping fans from wondering if Travis has babies on the brain.

In the meantime, Pat is still trying to figure out what to do, and having Ryan, who is a smartie, as his teammate is throwing him off. “Fitzmagic is taking me out of my strategy,” says Pat, who had planned to go from the easiest question to the hardest because not doing so was what got him flunked out his previous two times on the show. “I was going to go to math, but he’s Fitzmagic, man.”

“But it’s your show,” Travis points out. And Pat reiterates, “But he’s Fitzmagic, man.” Travis agrees, saying, “The Harvard grad himself.” In the end, Pat decides to go with third grade measurements. Does he get it right? Tune in to Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? this Wednesday, Nov. 20 on Prime Video to find out.
