Swifties claim they have discovered a point in Travis Kelce’s most recent “New Heights” episode that reveals he recorded the podcast near his girlfriend, Taylor Swift. “Who are you looking at, Trav? ,” one fan inquired via X Wednesday accompanied a clip showing the Kansas City Chiefs player briefly gazing up to the side and then flashing a wide smile at someone off camera.
Another user commented on the charming moment, adding, “the way Travis is fully distracted by Taylor here .” Kelce, 34, may still be abroad with Swift, also 34, as he is not required to return to the United States until July 21, when training camp for the 2024 NFL season begins. The Chiefs’ first game is slated for September 5.
During his break, the professional athlete attended Eras Tour gigs in London and Dublin, the latter of which looked to take the pop singer off guard. On Sunday night, Swift was seen grinning from ear to ear while performing “August” in a flowing red gown, much like Kelce did on his podcast.
“Her entire body language changed,” one admirer noted on X at the moment. “this is the cutest thing ever and I’m so glad we got to see it!” Kelce and Swift, who have been dating since last summer, are often unable to disguise their feelings for each other. In prior “New Heights” broadcasts, observant Swift fans noted when the “You Belong With Me” singer briefly captured the Super Bowl champion’s attention.
Kelce was obviously disturbed in October 2023 while his brother, Jason Kelce, read a script during a commercial break. “Travis… Travis!” the former Philadelphia Eagles center, 36, yelled out to his younger brother, leading the Chiefs star to eventually look up from his phone after the second nudge.
Travis Kelce has opened out about his chats with girlfriend Taylor Swift, which led to his surprise attendance at her Eras Tour event in London. Kelce stunned 90,000 people at Wembley Stadium when she appeared on stage as Swift’s backing dancer during her performance of ‘I Can Do It With a Broken Heart’. And now, on Wednesday’s New Heights episode, the Super Bowl winner explains how the moment came about.
‘It’s extremely unlike me; I don’t enjoy performing on stages,’ Travis remarked sarcastically as his brother Jason questioned him about the situation. ‘I initially mentioned it to Tay but was like “How funny would it be if I rolled out on one of the bikes for the 1989 era,” and she started laughing and was like “Would you seriously be up for doing something like that?”
‘I was like, “What?” “I would love to do that; are you kidding me?” I’ve seen enough of the program; you may as well put me to work. ‘Sure enough, she found the right spot in the play for me to appear. No bike in case I collided with someone else or hit one of the dancers. It was the safest option.
Travis joined backup dancers Kameron Saunders and Jan Ravnik on stage to ‘bring Taylor back to life’ during the interlude between her performance of ‘The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived’ and ‘I Can Do It With A Broken Heart’, which Jason admitted was his new favorite song because it’s relatable to everyone.
