Taylor Swift Pays Tribute to Travis Kelce with Major Launch

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce had a secret romantic dinner at Patrick Mahomes and Brittany's favourite Japanese restaurant

The Kansas City Chiefs are on a hot streak this season, heading into Week 5 as the only AFC team that remains undefeated. While Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce got off to a slow start, recording a total of eight catches for 69 yards throughout the first three games, he broke out in Week 4.

During the Chiefs’ 17-10 in over the Los Angeles Chargers, Kelce shattered Tony Gonzalez’s record for most receptions (917) in franchise history.

He finished the game seven catches for 89 yards, giving him 922 total career receptions.

While Kelce faced severe criticism for his lackluster start to the season, girlfriend Taylor Swift remained his No. 1 fan.

While she missed the Chiefs last two matchups, the 34-year-old pop star is expected to return to Arrowhead catch Kansas City’s game against the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football. In the meantime, Swift announced a new major launch on her website on Oct. 3, which immediately turned heads.

The 14-time Grammy winner dropped a new line of merchandise on her website entitled, “The Greatest in the League Collection,” which she casually dropped on National Boyfriend Day.

The name of the collection draws from a lyric from the song, “Alchemy,” off her latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department.” Along with “So High School,” this track was clearly inspired by her romance with Kelce.

She sings, “So when I touch down, call the amateurs and cut ‘em from the team. Ditch the clowns, get the crown, baby I’m the one to be. ‘Cause the sign on your heart said it’s still reserved for me.

“Shirts off and your friends lift you up over their heads, Beer stickin’ to the floor, cheers changed ‘cause they said “There was no chance trying to be the greatest in the league” Where’s the trophy? He just comes running over to me.”
