Taylor Swift on High Alert After Travis Kelce’s Home Was Burglarized

The new task Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been given by his brother Jason

Given the security scares pop star Taylor Swift has had to deal with in the past, no one can blame for her being overly cautious when it comes to her personal safety.

Swift was forced to cancel a handful of shows in Austria earlier over the summer due to a terrorist plot that was uncovered allegedly targeting her and the fans at her show, plus she had a stalker who was arrested back in July before a show in Germany after he made threats toward Swift and her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, over social media.

So when Kelce’s Leawood, Kansas home was broken into back on Oct. 7 – the same day the Chiefs beat the New Orleans Saints 26-13 on “Monday Night Football,” – the security detail for the 14-time Grammy winner didn’t leave anything up to chance, according to TMZ Sports.

“Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ … Travis Kelce and Taylor Swiftdidn’t take any chances during last month’s break-in at his home,” TMZ said. “Our sources say Travis and Taylor stayed at a downtown Kansas City hotel on the night of the Oct. 7th burglary, after the Chiefs’ ‘Monday Night Football’ showdown with the Saints at Arrowhead Stadium. We’re told Taylor and Travis’s security wasn’t playing around after the break-in.”

TMZ also reported documents relating to the break in indicated that $20,000 in cash was stolen from Kelce’s home and the back door to his residence was damaged.

Kelce’s home wasn’t the only one in the area burglarized. His teammate Patrick Mahomes, who lives approximately 27 minutes away from him, also had his house broken into the day before. A Cass County Sheriff’s office police report indicated Mahomes’ residence in Belton, Missouri was broken into around midnight on Oct. 6. It’s not known if anything was stolen from Mahomes’ house.
