The Kansas City Chiefs had to book their afterparty for Super Bowl 59 in advance. As you might expect, the team wasn’t exactly in a partying mood after losing 40-22 to the Philadelphia Eagles in a game that was far more lopsided than the final score indicates.
The DJ for the Chiefs’ afterparty in New Orleans was Dillon Francis, who shared some footage from his performance – to a grand total of three people.
In a video posted on Instagram he claimed that he was asked last minute to do a party for what was supposed to be a crowd of about 11,000 people. He still tried to make the most of it though, trying to get the few attendees to sing along with him.
“Sometimes you have to go back to your roots and DJ for 3 people,” he wrote in the caption to his video.

Users on social media found it hilarious for how embarrassing it must have been for the Chiefs.
“Even the best gotta deal with situations like this,” one user replied.
“This is the feel good content I needed rn. I can relate,” wrote another.
“I’m sorry Dillon 🙁 we were too sad to party,”
It really was a night to forget for the Chiefs as the Philadelphia Eagles blitzed them (on the scoreboard, not on the field) to the tune of a 24-0 halftime lead.
The Eagles had more points in the first half than the Chiefs had net yards as Kansas City’s offensive line simply couldn’t stop the Eagles defensive line from getting through to Mahomes.
On the other side of the ball, the Eagles offense simply could not be stopped even when they committed a turnover.
Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts had a pretty above-average game but still won MVP honors with 221 passing yards, two passing touchdowns, a game-leading 72 rushing yards and one touchdown on the ground.
At least Dillon Francis got paid for his work.
