The quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes, has expanded his collection of distinctive eyewear.
The Mahomes II Signature Series Latch Panel is now available, Oakley said in an announcement on Monday. The new appearance, which “is functionally designed and elevates off-field style,” was unveiled prior to Monday Night Football between the Chiefs and Mahomes’ opponent, the New Orleans Saints.

“The Mahomes II Signature Series Latch Panel features a striking gold frame that pays homage to Mahomes’ record-breaking achievements and relentless pursuit of excellence,” the release stated. “Its full-rim design, crafted from durable and comfortable BiQ-Matter with a clear gloss finish, is perfectly executed for moments both on and off the field.”
In the 2019 offseason, only a few months after making his debut as Kansas City’s full-time starting quarterback, Mahomes inked an endorsement contract with Oakley.
“With this partnership, I can show what Oakley can do on and off the football field, and I think that’s the biggest thing,” Mahomes said at the time. “We both strive to be the best in our aspects.”
When the Chiefs take on the Saints at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday, Mahomes and company will be trying to get to 5-0.
