Jason Kelce Is Embarrassed By His Brother’s ‘Guilty Pleasure’ TV Show

Travis and Jason Kelce announce exciting twist to the next New Heights podcast episode this week

One of the main purposes of the Kelce brothers’ “New Heights” podcast is to show that at their core, they’re just regular dudes.

That means they have guilty pleasures just like everyone else. On this week’s episode, Jason Kelce asked Travis for examples of his guilty pleasure shows, a program he’d be “slightly embarrassed to admit” he liked.

Travis immediately named the teen drama series, Gossip Girl, which originally ran on CW from 2007 to 2012. Told by his brother that he “should be embarrassed” at that admission, Travis didn’t back down. “Dude, it’s so good though,” he said.

Blake Lively, one of the main stars from Gossip Girl, is also one of Taylor Swift’s best friends, so perhaps Travis’ affinity for the show was a sign of things to come.

As for his own burgeoning acting career, Kelce appeared in the new FX series Grotesquerie, which will premier later tonight.

The Kansas City Chiefs star drew praise for his work from star Niecy Nash-Betts, who plays one of the main characters. “Travis was very open. He was very open on if there was a note given or a suggestion given. So amenable.

‘Tell me what I don’t know. Tell me what your thought is on this,'” Nash-Betts said. “I love that he didn’t come in trying to act like, ‘I know everything and I know it all.'”

Travis is also set to appear in the upcoming sequel to Happy Gilmore, and will host Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? on Amazon Prime later this fall.
