What Travis Kelce’s Mom, Donna, Said About Him and Taylor Swift Being Alike

Initially, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, the couple who have taken the world by storm since first being romantically linked in 2023, may appear to have nothing in common. She is, after all, an award-winning musician, and he’s a Super Bowl champion.

However, according to Kelce’s mother, Donna Kelce, the two do indeed share some of the same traits.

One of the topics they discussed was, unsurprisingly, her 34-year-old son’s relationship with Swift.

At one point, she listed off a few traits the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and “Down Bad” singer share. “They’re both friendly,” Kelce’s 71-year-old mother said. “They’re both generous, they’re both loving, they’re both caring individuals.”

Kelce himself previously told WSJ in a November 2023 interview that one of the “values” he and Swift share is keeping family close.

“Her team is her family,” he told the publication. “Her family does a lot of stuff in terms of the tour, the marketing, being around. So I think she has a lot of those values as well, which is right up my alley.”
