AceShowbiz – On the “Today” show, NFL player Travis Kelce’s mother, Donna Kelce, discussed her Thanksgiving preparations and if her son’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, would be attending the family gathering.
Given that Travis is playing the day after Thanksgiving, Donna disclosed that she would be going to a football game on Thanksgiving. She emphasized the value of football as a family ritual by saying that it takes precedence during the holidays.
In reference to a possible family meal, Donna stated, “I don’t think we’re planning anything big.” They might just go to the football game, she explained.
Donna also talked about her thoughts on Taylor Swift maybe spending Thanksgiving with the family. “I doubt she’ll be with us,” she remarked. “She’s kind of busy right now,” Swift said, alluding to her current “Eras Tour.” Swift has a full calendar of performances, Donna added.
After the pair went public in 2023, Donna, who has become close to Swift, said she admires the singer. She said she had seen Swift at Travis’ home game the Sunday before, where she enthusiastically cheered him on.
Swift’s attendance at Travis’ next game against the Las Vegas Raiders on November 29 is unknown at this time. Her tour schedule includes a 13-day hiatus in between performances in Toronto and Vancouver, so it’s possible for her to attend.
But according to Donna, Swift might not be able to spend Thanksgiving with the Kelce family due to her hectic schedule.
