Remember last year when there were whispers that Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift could be Ken and Barbie for Halloween?
Well, speculation around the couple’s potential costume is back on for this year’s Halloween, and Kelce’s own mother is teasing that something big is cooking up.
Speaking to People at Glamour’s Women of the Year Awards in NYC, Donna Kelce was asked about Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s plans for Halloween and while she didn’t give any specific details, her answer does seem to imply the duo is planning a couple’s costume for this year’s spooky festivities.
“I can’t wait to see what it’s going to be. They’re tight-lipped,” Donna Kelce told People. “They don’t tell us anything.” Of course, take everything with a grain of salt.
After all, all of last year’s Ken and Barbie speculation amounted to nothing, and the couple was notably absent from all of the Halloween celebrity costume roundups — though, granted, their relationship was still in the early stages then.
Swift was only spotted kissing Kelce for the same time a week before last year’s Halloween, with sources only whispering that things were “getting serious.”
While we didn’t get to see Travis or Taylor in costume last year, Travis’s brother Jason Kelce did get into the Halloween spirit for an episode of their New Heights podcast, dressing up as King Triton.
That said, Travis Kelce himself has been known to dabble in couple’s costumes for Halloween, channeling the Mario brothers with Jason in the past, so keep an eye out for 2024…
