On Saturday, June 1, NFL player Travis Kelce appeared onstage with comedian Jason Sudeikis at the annual Big Slick Celebrity Weekend charity event in Kansas City, participating in a sketch by the former Saturday Night Live cast member. Fans filmed a moment during the fun exchange and published it on X, formerly known as Twitter, in which Sudeikis inquired about Kelce’s incredibly famous girlfriend Taylor Swift.
“Hey Travis, real talk, OK, just the guys here,” Sudeikis added. “When are you going to make an honest woman out of her?” Kelce grinned and seemed serious as the audience cheered. Sudeikis’ uncle George Wendt and Robert Smigel also appeared onstage. The joke was a reference to their frequent sketch, Bill Swerski’s Super Fans from the 1990s era SNL.
“Look, Taylor doesn’t need to be working anymore,” they continued to joke, before riffing on the infamous speech made by Kansas City Chiefs player Harrison Butker at Benedictine College, suggesting female graduates should focus on “marriage and motherhood.”
Kelce laughed, but then appeared to have had enough. “Guys, you’re really pushing it,” he added.

Swift is presently touring Europe and is slated to perform in Lyon, France, on Sunday, thus she did not attend the event. She was apparently in London on Saturday at the KitKatClub to see her pal Cara Delevingne sing in Cabaret, having traveled there from Madrid and Portugal.
