Following his arrival at his second annual Kelce Car Jam fundraising event in Kansas City, Mo., the Kansas City Chiefs tight end who celebrated his 35th birthday at the event on Saturday revealed what he truly wants for a gift this year. “I’ll take another Super Bowl if you got one of those,” he told Page Six exclusively.
The yearly vehicle show was designed to generate funds for children in Cleveland and Kansas City. Taylor Swift, Kelce’s girlfriend, missed the major charitable event featuring several of her songs played. The NFL athlete reassured the Raising Cane crew at the scene, nevertheless, that she would be seeing his squad against the Saints on Monday.
“She won’t be here [today. But] I know she’s coming in for the game,” Kelce added. Kelce said on his “New Heights” podcast earlier this week that he planned to display a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle at the charitable event. Last year after she went to her first Chiefs game, he and Swift drove the car through Kansas City.
“This year is the second year we’ve done a car show, basically a block-party style event, that will showcase some of the top cars from the Fuel House, a fun car club out here,” Kelce stated on the podcast episode. “And then I think a lot of others lined up. It promises to be enjoyable. I should have my old school, “70 Chevelle all fired and ready to rock and roll.” If not, I will offer one of the other vehicles I own.
Since they made public with their romance in September 2023, the singer reportedly spent a “chill night” with Kelce in Missouri on his 34th birthday last year; this is the three-time Super Bowl winner’s first birthday spent without Swift. Kelce also celebrated the big day last year with a parking lot fiesta including many pals and Dutch cigars.
According to Daily Mail, his brother Jason and parents Ed and Donna were there for the birthday celebration this year. Shortly after their Saturday airport landing, the family members arrived for the event. A few of his Chiefs teammates were also in attendance including Patrick Mahomes and George Karlaftis.
