The Kansas City Chiefs have done it. After overcoming a formidable challenge from Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills during Sunday’s AFC Championship Game, it’s the Chiefs who are now headed to the Super Bowl. Travis Kelce did not have a mind-blowing performance in this one, but he did enough to help lead the Chiefs to a 32-29 victory. The All-Pro tight end finished with two receptions for 19 yards. Kelce’s girlfriend Taylor Swift made the trip to Arrowhead Stadium to support her man. She even headed to the field to celebrate the AFC title shortly after the final whistle. At one point, the cameras caught the “Fortnight” singer’s heartfelt reaction to a special Kelce moment amid the celebrations. Kelce took the mic as the Chiefs were awarded the AFC Championship. He sent a special shoutout to the fans at Arrowhead before asking the supporters to “do a little dance (and) make a little love.”
The cameras caught Swift at the perfect moment as it showed exactly what she said after hearing Kelce’s epic speech. The “Fortnight” singer needed only one word to express her feelings about it. Swift was laughing and had a big smile on her face throughout, which just goes to show how happy she was in the moment. This is now the second straight year that she’s watched Kelce lift the AFC title after last season’s conquest. As Kelce said, however, the Chiefs are “never satisfied.” The job is not done just yet as they now prepare to take on the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX. Swift was in attendance for last year’s big game at Allegiant Stadium, and she will likely be back to cheer on Kelce and the Chiefs at New Orleans’ Superdome on Feb. 9.
