“Saw Caitlin Clark there, got to meet Caitlin, she’s awesome,” Kelce said
During Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, Travis Kelce has visited his girlfriend and mingled with celebrities on several occasions. However, he was especially thrilled to meet Caitlin Clark, another famous “Swiftie,” during her visit to Indianapolis this past weekend.
Travis talked about meeting the WNBA Rookie of the Year on the Wednesday, November 6th episode of his New Heights podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother Jason. “I got to meet Caitlin Clark there, and she’s amazing.”
“She loves being out there in Indianapolis, says it’s a fun city and we’re both just true Midwesterners to the heart — played high school ball, college ball, pro ball, all out here in the midwest,” Travis, 35, added. It was cool catching up with her.”
In response to Jason’s (37), question about if Clark’s “dance moves were as good as her jump shot,” Travis confirmed that the WNBA player was enjoying.
“She was into the show for sure. She was there with her mom and a few friends. I think this was like her third or fourth show she had been to, she’s a Swiftie through and through,” the Chiefs tight end said.
Travis also discussed why he chose to attend Swift’s second gig in Indianapolis, even though it was only two days prior to a game. He clarified, “I wanted to see Tay again before this thing got closed up.”
“I’ll tell you what, man. The American crowds, they did not disappoint. I heard that it was a lot more rowdy this time around, knowing she was coming back to stop through America one last time before the tour was over with, and I’ll tell you what, man, that thing was rocking. Absolutely rocking,” Kelce added.
Swift’s Eras Tour will resume on November 14 for a run of concerts at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, after all of the U.S. engagements have been completed. After those performances, on Sunday, December 8, she will wrap up the tour with three nights at the BC Place in Vancouver, Canada.
