The American footballer was in the capital last month to surprise his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, at her last show at the Aviva Stadium on June 30.
In a shock to Irish fans, a post of Travis, Taylor and a group of friends, including his teammate Patrick Mahomes, shows Travis in a hat with Garda across the front.
The writing on the sides show it is an official cap used by the Public Order Unit, who would have been policing around the Aviva Stadium that night.
The group were on a night out in Amsterdam after the latest gigs in Taylor’s European leg of the Eras tour.
He recently showed off another item he took home from the trip- an Irish rugby jersey, which he wore in the YouTube recording of his podcast with his brother Jason.
On the podcast, Travis spoke about his time here, saying: “It was fun. Leave it at that. It was an absolute blast.
“Got to hang out in a pub, have some Guinness on draft over there basically just beer milkshakes, delicious.
“And I had my new favourite dessert shot, which is a Baby Guinness. I call it a dessert shot because it was literally, I think Baileys, Guinness and like maybe a whiskey in there… It’s like a little shooter… it’s like ‘’hmmm that’s delicious’.”
Travis’ fans were sent into a frenzy after seeing he took the Garda Public Order Unit cap home.
Lucy wrote: “The fact Travis is wearing a Garda hat is SENDING me.”
James said: “First travis is in an Irish rugby jersey and now he’s wearing a Garda hat, he loves Ireland.”
Lily tweeted: “Travis wearing a Garda hat was something I never expected to see, Irish Swifties have risen.”
Aoife commented: “Obsessed with Travis Kelce wearing a Garda hat. Where did he even get it.”
Another fan remarked: “Not the Garda Síochána hat! Travis really loves Ireland.”
Taylor hosted an after-party at Dublin’s semi-exclusive speakeasy bar, Hacienda, which is located on Little Mary Street in Smithfield, after her last Dublin gig.
The 34-year-old celebrated in style with her crew, beloved boyfriend Travis, her supporting act Paramore and Stevie Nicks.
