Actor Wes Bergmann recently grabbed headlines after dropping a massive revelation about Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs star’s relationship with Taylor Swift.
Bergmann resides in Leawood, Kansas, and lives just a few doors down Kelce’s estate, which is why he supposedly has the inside scoop on the All-Pro tight end.
On the Feb. 5 episode of the “RHAP: We Know Reality TV” podcast, Bergmann made an audacious claim about knowing about the Kelce-Swift romance way before the public learned about the high-profile relationship. According to the reality TV actor, Kelce had already been going out with Swift six months before she started attending Chiefs games.
“I was like the first person to know about any of this stuff,” Bergmann said on the podcast. “And I tried to tell this woman (podcast host Fitzgerald) a long time ago.
‘They are together, just so you know,’ and she didn’t believe it! “She didn’t believe it. She was like, ‘She only goes for artists,’ I beat the validating of her showing up to games and stuff by six months.”
Bergmann’s revelation blew up online completely, and he has now been forced to track back on his initial statement, while also issuing a public apology for the same. “Omg y’all I’m so sorry and confused,” he posted on X on Tuesday. “Everything being reported on is none of my business.
My contribution to this was taken out of context and said in what I thought was relative obscurity, but it obviously wasn’t. “[Kelce] moved in November, that’s all I know.
I told Michele, who is a giant fan, hey this is serious. She didn’t believe me for six months. That was the intention of the comment. Again it was taken out of context but I shouldn’t be talking about it anyway.

So consider this the last time I do.” In his post, Bergmann attempts to clarify the timeline of his revelation. It appears that what he is trying to say here is that it was only in November 2023 that he learned about the relationship — two months after the couple “hard launched” their romance to the public in September when the “Karma” singer first attended a Chiefs game.
Bergmann clarified that he had been telling his friend about the relationship “for six months,” presumably after he learned about it in November.
This goes against the narrative that Bergmann supposedly claimed that the romance started six months before Swift was first spotted at Arrowhead Stadium in September.
The way Bergmann vaguely clarified his previous statement still leaves a bit of confusion here. Either way, he’s promised not to talk about the relationship anymore after his comments were supposedly “taken out of context” and blown completely out of proportion.
