Forget the Kansas City Chiefs’ efforts on the football field, as Taylor Swift fans reckon the pop star’s ‘superstition’ is the reason the team earned a spot in the Super Bowl.
The 35-year-old, who is in a relationship with tight end Travis Kelce, is getting all the credit for the Chiefs’ triumph over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday evening (26 January).
The Missouri side’s 32-29 win secured them a spot in this year’s Super Bowl, which takes place in less than two weeks time on 9 February.
Swift and Kelce, 35, celebrated the news with a snog on the football field.
And according to Swifties who have taken to social media, the ‘Bad Blood’ singer’s outfit choice had a lot to do with the Chiefs success.
Stepping out in head-to-toe Louis Vuitton, the Pennsylvania-born pop star sported a black and gold monogram jacket, a black beanie, a pleated miniskirt, red tights and ankle boots.
It turns out that Swift actually wore one of these items at last year’s AFC Championship game too – and her fans now believe it must be a good luck charm for the Chiefs.
