Taylor Swift Rumor Fuels Super Bowl Halftime Speculation

Taylor Swift is arguably the biggest artist on the planet. The fact that her five-continent “Eras Tour” has already amassed a revenue of over $1 billion over the past year and a half is an undeniable testament to this notion.

This is exactly why fans on social media have been buzzing after the rumor mill recently revealed that Swift is in line to do a collaboration with hip-hop icon Kendrick Lamar. It was renowned French DJ/music producer DJ Snake who broke the news in what he called a “world premiere.”

DJ Snake was speaking in French when he made the revelation, which has led to various interpretations of his statement.

 

 

Either way, what is clear is that Swift and Lamar seem to have a collaboration in the works — at least according to DJ Snake. This bombshell has led to all sorts of speculation from fans on social media.

One of the most compelling theories involves Swift potentially joining Lamar in New Orleans when he performs in the 2025 Super Bowl Halftime Show. Lamar has already been announced as the main act for the much-anticipated event at Caesars Superdome on Feb. 9.

Some fans believe that given this latest development, Swift could be joining the rapper on stage to perform their new song.

 

 

“This would be a genius play,” read a post on X. “Put out a single with Taylor Swift before the Super Bowl, Chiefs make the Super Bowl, & Taylor performs that single with Kendrick at Halftime. ”

“There it is, Taylor Swift will be at the Super Bowl,” suggested a fan. “so what I’m hearing is Taylor Swift will be making an appearance during the Super Bowl ” surmised another. “taylor swift surprise guest appearance at the super bowl ” a fourth post read.

“STREETS ARE SAYING THE KENDRICK AND TAYLOR SONG IS SURPRISE DROPPING THE DAY BEFORE THE SUPER BOWL…………………. TAYLOR SWIFT IS PERFORMING AT THE SUPER BOWL WITH KENDRICK LAMAR……….” declared another.

 

 

“They were photographed together at Electric Lady Studios late last year,” revealed a Reddit user. “So I guess it’s possible. Now let the speculation about whether Taylor will appear at his Super Bowl halftime show begin . . .”

For what it’s worth, a potential collaboration between Swift and Lamar would be a follow-up to their 2014 track “Bad Blood (Remix)” from Swift’s “1989” album. It is also worth noting that Swift is currently dating All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce, who is one of the star players of the two-time defending champions Kansas City Chiefs.

They are currently in the midst of an incredible season (they have a 9-1 record) and are considered one of the favorites to make the Super Bowl again in 2025.

Swift will likely be in attendance at Caesars Superdome if the Chiefs make it to the big game — just like how she was there to support Kelce during the 2024 Super Bowl in Las Vegas. She would potentially be hitting two birds with one stone if she turned out to be a performer for the Halftime Show as well.
