Taylor Swift has been friends with Blake Lively for many years now. So much so, that Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs, has grown close to Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds.
Swift’s relationship with Lively now appears to have been put to the ultimate test amid the latter’s legal drama involving her “It Ends With Us” costar Justin Baldoni.
Lively sued Baldoni for, among other things, sexual harassment while on the set of their movie.
The actor-director vehemently denied the claims and responded with a $400 million lawsuit against Lively and Reynolds, alleging defamation.
According to reports, Lively “used” Swift by referring to her friend as one of her “dragons” who would protect her if push came to shove.
Baldoni accused Lively of using the “Karma” singer to threaten him to implement the changes she wanted in the film.
Swift reportedly wasn’t at all pleased with how Lively dragged her into the mess. A new report from Radar Online has now revealed how the multi-Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter has supposedly taken significant measures to correct the same.
Apparently, Swift “is said to have booted Blake Lively from the top spot in her girl squad.”
“The Bad Blood singer, 35, is distancing herself from Lively, 37, after getting dragged into the Hollywood beauty’s legal battle with her It Ends With Us costar and director, Justin Baldoni, sources told us,” read Radar Online’s report.
Based on this report, the rumors about the supposed rift between Swift and Lively are true. Lively was not part of Swift’s crew for the Super Bowl in New Orleans last month, despite the fact that Lively was in Swift’s VIP box with the “Eras Tour” headliner in last year’s big game in Las Vegas.
As it turns out, there could be a valid reason behind the same.
