Adam Sandler Made His Opinion of Travis Kelce Extremely Clear

Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs couldn’t get it done in Super Bowl LIX, falling to Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles 40-22 from the Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. After failing to pull off the first-ever Super Bowl three-peat, the Chiefs may have some big decisions to make in the offseason. And one of them could involve Kelce.

Although the Chiefs tight end has made it clear that he wants to continue playing in the 2025 season, he has still yet to make a decision on his retirement.

As Kansas City awaits Kelce’s choice, it has decided to give the 10-time Pro Bowler a decision deadline of mid-March.

But even if Kelce does decide to hang it up, he potentially has a future career in acting. He has starred in a few TV shows, such as “Grotesquerie” and the host of Amazon Prime’s “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?” But Kelce’s potential biggest Hollywood role has not come out yet.

In July 2025, comedian Adam Sandler is expected to release his Netflix sequel, “Happy Gilmore 2.” The former Cincinnati Bearcats star has been cast in the movie, and although it is unclear what role he will be playing, the first trailer appears to show Kelce as a waiter.

On Sunday night, Sandler was in attendance for “Saturday Night Live’s 50th Anniversary Special” in New York. When discussing his upcoming film, Sandler revealed his thoughts on Kelce. “Funny as hell, Sandler said. ” Funny as hell. No kidding, unbelievable.”

Sandler has become one of the most popular comedians during his long acting career. He got his big start on “SNL” from 1990 to 1995. He didn’t make a career as a screenwriter until 1995, when he wrote two hits in two years, including “Happy Gilmore” and “Billy Madison.” For Kelce’s acting to receive such high praise from someone like Sandler goes a long way.
