Patrick Mahomes and his family have had a busy summer in Europe, visiting a variety of concerts and athletic activities together. While they have clearly been enjoying Patrick’s time off from the NFL, there has been quite a news that will surely affect their lives for the foreseeable future.
Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany, have officially announced that they are expecting their third child together. The Kansas City Chiefs star announced Brittany’s pregnancy on Friday morning in a sweet manner.
The couple shared an Instagram video of themselves holding a sonogram while their two children played nearby. The video, set to Bruno Mars’ “Count on Me,” featured a caption written by Brittany herself. “Round three, here we come,” she wrote. Travis Kelce’s girlfriend and Brittany close friend, Taylor Swift has also reacted to the good news from the Mahomes.
Taylor liked Brittany’s post that was shared on Instagram along with over five hundred thousand others. Patrick and Brittany’s first child, Sterling, was born in February 2021, and their second child, Bronze, was born in November 2022.
The family has remained close, often taking vacations together when Patrick is not on the field. While the actual due date for their third kid is uncertain, Brittany’s current pregnancy bump indicates that the new addition may arrive in 2025. Prior to Friday’s revelation, there had been talk that the family will welcome a third child, but neither parent was very forthcoming when asked about it.
Patrick appeared more pleased than Brittany, who expressed her misgivings about adding a third child to the mix, especially because the last two were still so little. In August 2023, Brittany Mahomes responded to fan concerns on Instagram regarding growing their family.
“There are a lot of these…lol. We aren’t sure honestly! Part of me says yes, part of me says ehhhh maybe not,” Brittany admitted.
However, with the news now official the couple will have to put any doubts for one side at this juncture and prepare to welcome a third child into the world.
