The iconic music star has missed the Kansas City Chiefs’ past two games. Swift was not in attendance for the Chiefs’ win over the Falcons on Sunday Night Football.
She then missed last Sunday’s win over the Chargers in Los Angeles. While this led to some speculation online, Swift was simply busy and chose to watch the games from home.
But she’ll reportedly be back in attendance on Monday evening, when the Chiefs take on the Saints in a big Week 5 contest. Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce shared the big news about his girlfriend. “She will be not be here [today. But] I know she’s coming in for the game,” Kelce said over the weekend.
Kelce, who is off to a slow start this season, had previously made it clear that he didn’t care if his significant other attended every single regular season game. It’s a long season, after all.
“I mean, there’s eight home games, eight away games, plus playoffs. I don’t even expect my parents and my friends to make every single game,” Kelce said in 2016.
He added: “If you’re dating a professional athlete I do not believe, at least for me, that you need to go to all the games.” That’s a good mindset to have. But it’ll be fun to see Swift in attendance on Monday night. Kickoff between the Saints and the Chiefs is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. E.T. The Week 5 NFL game will air on ESPN.
