Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs took care of business on Saturday afternoon. Kansas City topped Houston, 27-19, in a toughly played game at Arrowhead Stadium.
The Chiefs improved to 14-1 on the year with the close win over C.J. Stroud and company. Kansas City will now just get a couple of days rest, before taking on the Pittsburgh Steelers in a Christmas Day game on Wednesday.
Prior to the Saturday afternoon game, Travis Kelce had a big surprise for his girlfriend, Taylor Swift. Swift, 35, recently ended her iconic Eras Tour, which traveled the globe and took place for two years. To celebrate the conclusion of the tour, Kelce had a big surprise party for his girlfriend.
The iconic music star was reportedly “shocked.” From Page Six: The pop superstar, 35, was “blown away” that the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, also 35, “went out of his way” to throw her an Eras Tour wrap party.
“Taylor couldn’t have been more shocked when she saw everyone standing there,” the insider says. “That was the last thing she was expecting and she couldn’t believe Travis went out of his way to throw a surprise party for her,” the source adds.
“She thought it was so thoughtful and such a sweet gesture. It really meant so much to her.” The insider also tells us that Kelce “had this party planned for a while” and it was “something he knew he wanted to do” for Swift.
Travis, a three-time Super Bowl-winning tight end, had reportedly known for a while that he wanted to do this for his girlfriend, who worked insanely hard over the past two years, traveling the globe with her tour.
The Chiefs, meanwhile, had a big showing at the party, with several players and their significant others showing up for Swift. Kansas City has become an incredibly tight unit, from the players to their wives to their girlfriends, and it shows both on and off of the field.
The Chiefs are now getting ready to take on the Steelers on Christmas Day, this Wednesday.
