Taylor Swift fans have shared their plans to pay tribute to the Southport stabbing victims at the singer’s Wembley gig. Merseyside is in mourning after the horror knife attack on Hart Street on Monday.

Three children named Alice Aguiar, Elsie Stancombe and Bebe King have died from their injuries, which took place as they were attending a sold out Taylor Swift dance class at the The Hart Space community hub and pregnancy care centre. Eight other children suffered stab wounds during the attack, with some still in a critical condition.

Two adults are also in hospital with severe injuries. Taylor Swift took to Instagram earlier today and said she is “completely in shock” after the incident.

Fans of the singer have taken to Facebook to share their plans to pay tribute to the victims of the attack when the popstar returns to the UK next month. The singer will bring her Eras Tour back to Wembley from August 15 – 20. A callout has been placed on a Facebook group for people to pay tribute to the victims at the August 15 concert.

A fan named Nyx Lero said: “Calling all the Swifties attending Wembley n4 (15th August). We’ve made a tribute project for yesterday hold up pink paper hearts saying “For Southport” during Marjorie.”

The tribute added: “In honour of those who have unfortunately lost their lives and those injured in the recent Southport attack we would like to do a fan project to help remember them. During Marjorie we would like to hold up pink and white hearts to show our respects.

“Using A4 paper you will be able to cut out four hearts using ideally both pink and white paper, but if you can only bring white it will still be appreciated. Those who are able to please bring as many hearts as possible and if anyone who is attending N4 who would like to help out bringing lots of hearts and handing them out please DM me.”

Other members of the group took to the comments to praise the planned tribute. Amanda said: “What a beautiful tribute! My tour night is LONG since past, but I’d love to suggest that we all jump in—even those of us not there—by wearing pink and/or hearts during that concert date.

“I can’t imagine the pain that the families and the UK are going through right now.” Helen posted: “Love this so much.” Taylor took to Instagram earlier to share her tribute as she said: “The horror of yesterday’s attack in Southport is washing over me continuously, and I’m just completely in shock. The loss of life and innocence, and the horrendous trauma inflicted on everyone who was there, the families and the first responders.

“These were just little kids at a dance class. I am at a complete loss for how to ever convey my sympathies to those families.”
