Taylor Swift ‘could join Travis Kelce as he hosts birthday charity event tonight in Kansas City’ as Chiefs star celebrates turning 35

Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce decide to expand family as romance heats up

Travis Kelce, a standout player for the Chiefs, is celebrating his 35th birthday on Saturday, and Taylor Swift might attend his “car jam” charity event in Kansas City.

Fundraising for Kelce’s 87-year-old organization, which supports children in Cleveland and Kansas City, takes place every year during his vehicle event.

This week on New Heights, his older brother Jason announced that he would be attending the event with his younger brother, and there’s a chance Kelce’s girlfriend will be there as well.

US Weekly said in September that Swift intended to attend, stating: “Swift will probably be present to celebrate his October 5 birthday with family and friends at his Kelce Car Jam in Kansas City.”

This week, during an interview on his podcast, Travis said that he will be showcasing the 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle that he memorably took Swift for a drive around Kansas City in the year following her first-ever Chiefs game.

‘This year is the second year we’ve done a car show, basically a block-party style event, that will showcase some of the city’s top automobiles from the Fuel House, a fun car club out here,’ Kelce said.

‘And then I guess a bunch of others that are lined up. It’s gonna be fun. I should have my old school ’70 Chevelle all revved up and ready to rock and roll. If not, I’ll bring one of the other cars that I have.

‘It’s always fun to get out here in Kansas City. Kansas City, they show up every single time that I’ve done anything foundation-wise, and I love them for it.’

Although Swift hasn’t attended the Chiefs’ previous two games—their victories over the Atlanta Falcons and Los Angeles Chargers—DailyMail.Com exclusively revealed this week how she was there to encourage Kelce during his challenging season debut.

Travis’s mother, Donna, has announced that she will also be attending the event on her Facebook page.

Monday night at Arrowhead Stadium, the Chiefs will play their return to NFL action against the New Orleans Saints.

Jason will be calling his younger brother’s Chiefs game for the first time since he retired and started working on ESPN’s Monday Night Football coverage.

Speaking in September, Jason said: ‘I don’t know that I’m going to cover Travis any differently than I do anyone else. I mean, I feel like I’ve been praising him for as long as I can remember.

‘I’ve got to be honest, I do think it’s important to do that whenever you’re commentating. So I’m just going to try and do that and just organically say what I think and not think too much into it.

‘That one (Vs. New Orleans Saints) is actually gonna be really fun, because Travis’s birthday is October 5th.

‘So, I’ll be able to go in and celebrate his birthday with him — which normally, in season, we don’t get to see each other for that. Then I’ll be able to cover the game.’
