At Taylor Swift’s sixth and last Eras Tour performance in Toronto this past weekend, tears were streaming down the face.
After receiving a standing ovation for her rendition of “Champagne Problems” on Saturday, the pop star became visibly upset as she tried to thank her bandmates and fans for their support.
In a video posted to X (formerly Twitter), Swift was spotted on stage in a red gown with a matching red lip as she began to cry. “To my band and to my crew, everybody who’s put so much of this into this tour, and I don’t even know what I’m saying anymore,” Swift said as her voice cracked and she turned away from the crowd. “I’m just having a —sorry…It’s not even the last show!”

After pulling herself together, Swift continued, “My band, my crew [and] all my fellow performers, we have put so much of our lives into this, and you put so much of your lives into being with us tonight and to giving us that moment that we will never forget. We loved our time in Toronto; it’s been so amazing. I love you, guys, thank you so much for that.”
Before formally wrapping off her Eras Tour on December 8, the Grammy-winning singer will play three additional shows in Vancouver. In March 2023, Swift first announced the global tour that paid tribute to all of her previous and current albums.
Swift has a special place in her heart for the Eras Tour because it was the beginning of her romance with Travis Kelce. The NFL player attempted to offer the singer his phone number on a friendship bracelet back in July 2023, but sadly, things didn’t go as planned.
“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings,” Kelce previously said on his New Heights podcast, adding: “If you’re up on Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets, and I received a bunch of them being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it.”
The two began “hanging out” soon after Kelce put her “on blast” in an interview with Time magazine in December 2023, Swift subsequently disclosed.
