It wouldn’t be incorrect to argue that the Mahomes family and athletics go together like clockwork. Furthermore, we are not stating this randomly! Patrick Mahomes followed in his father’s footsteps and became an offensive lineman in football while Sr. Mahomes played baseball. And what do you know? This year, Young Mahomes has also entered the sports world!
Sterling, meanwhile, isn’t motivated by her famous parents, grandparents, or mom. Rather, she has gone above and beyond for it! The child began gymnastics in August, influenced by Simone Biles. Brittany Mahomes initially revealed her daughter’s passion for gymnastics on the Internet on August 21st.
Let’s jump ahead to a month later. The little munchkin appears to be putting in far too much effort to pick up her favorite sport. Mrs. Mahomes posted a cute story on Instagram on September 28th, in which little Sterling was amusingly hanging upside down. She probably has more flexibility than most of us, too!
A month ago, Brittany wore a sweet red suit with sparkle to dress up her small child. The former soccer player wrote, “First day of gymnastics,” since she couldn’t contain her excitement. With her USA leotard on. And what do you know? The young athlete was wearing a bright red Adidas Team USA leotard, akin to what Simone Biles wore in the 2024 Olympic vault final in Paris. Another story spoke of a proud mother who shared a small secret! Sterling is an adorable young fitness enthusiast who enjoys bringing her knapsack to practice. It appears like Sterling is picking up all of her sportsmanship from her father at home.
Imagine being raised by athletes in your family. Do the hits from the environment differ? You’re basically born into sports. It’s evident that Sterling is completely enamored with gymnastics. And thanks to Simone Biles, who became the three-year-old’s role model and source of inspiration with her incredible talent.
While Sterling has a love for gymnastics, she loves seeing her dad play from the sidelines. Brittany shared the happiness Sterling finds in watching her father’s game and said, “My oldest daughter, she can finally kind of realize what’s going on and where she’s at, and she loves to watch her dad play football.” Well, it seems like the little kiddo learned sports at her home from the legendary QB, and that’s not all!
Brittany enjoys posting snippets of her life on social media, as everyone is aware. She is one of the cutest moms on Instagram, and her kids are frequently spotted with her at parks, vacation spots, and even gridirons. Furthermore, Sterling and Bronze are free to watch Patrick Mahomes play football all day long, as Mrs. Mahomes states.She added, “I think it’s a very special moment wherever I get to bring them to the game and they get to watch their dad play football.”
Even though Sterling is still a little child, it appears like she is serious about gymnastics and is lovingly practicing her routines rather than just fooling about and watching football. And while Biles is undoubtedly the child’s idol, we also need to give Dad Mahomes some recognition for giving the little sprout the athletic genes! Not only are his genes involved, but he also supports his offspring.
“Obviously, I want them to play sports,” declares the Super Bowl victor. He continued by saying that he has learned many morals and lessons from his involvement in sports. Additionally, he has a variety of sporting goods in his home. As his kids get older, he would adore watching them play. That’s interesting right now!
It appears that Sterling is following in their parents’ footsteps by learning gymnastics, and Patrick and Brittany are quite happy of it. We are so excited for the little girl as she enters the world of sports!
