How Travis Kelce Really Feels About Taylor Swift Missing Chiefs Games Amid Breakup Speculation

Taylor Swift set to mark Travis Kelce's 35th birthday with big announcement

Given that Swift has missed the last two games, supporters are left to question if the rumored breakup contract has any validity.

Some Chiefs supporters are beginning to question the veracity of the rumored breakup deal that was allegedly leaked for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, after Swift missed her second straight game.

In case you missed it, fans went crazy when a picture appeared online that appeared to be a paper from Kelce’s public relations agency that planned the couple’s September 28 split announcement.

However, Full Scope PR insisted that the pages were “entirely false and fabricated and were not created, issued or authorized by this agency” and denied any involvement with the document.

Over the past year, a number of people—including Chiefs CEO Clark Hunt—have refuted the notion that the partnership is a publicity gimmick. But, several people questioned the timing of the alleged breakup date and Swift’s lack of a WAGlor appearance when she missed the Chiefs’ game against the Chargers for a second week.

One fan found an interview with Kelce from 2016, in which he stated that he didn’t really expect his spouse to be at every game in reaction to the more critical remarks.

“If you’re dating a professional athlete, I do not believe, at least for me, that you have to go to all the games,” he said. “I mean, there’s eight home games, eight away games, plus playoffs. I don’t even expect my parents and my friends to make every single game.”

Not to mention, Swift gushed about Kelce and his support for her career earlier this month when she accepted the 2024 VMA for Video of the Year for “Fortnight.”

“Something that I’ll always remember is when I would finish a take and I’d say cut and we’d be done with that take, I would always just hear someone cheering ‘woo’ from across the studio where we were shooting it, and that one person was my boyfriend, Travis,” she said. “Everything this man touches turns to happiness and fun and magic, so I wanna thank him for adding that to our shoot because I’ll always remember that.”

When the team began play on September 5 at Arrowhead Stadium, Swift, who will soon begin the last part of her Eras Tour, was there to support them. Before missing her first game of the season on September 22, she was back in her suite for the Chiefs vs. Cincinnati Bengals game on September 15.

Swift’s next possible game to attend is the home game against the New Orleans Saints on October 7.
