Gracie Abrams Shares What Travis Kelce Told Her Right Before He Went Onstage With Taylor Swift

Travis has spent many hours watching Taylor’s performances all over the world, including Australia, Paris, Kansas City (where it all began), and, most recently, three consecutive shows in London and one in Dublin, Ireland. His on-stage appearance in London occurred during the Tortured Poets Department era, when Taylor switched from a frock to a two-piece attire thanks to her backing dancers.

Travis, dressed in a black tuxedo and top hat to match Taylor’s other dancers, brought his girlfriend of about a year onstage and stood back, smiling, as her two other dancers stripped her of the dress.

Gracie Abrams has revealed some details on Travis Kelce’s surprise on-stage appearance during Taylor Swift’s show at Wembley Stadium in London, England, on June 23. On Tuesday, Gracie spoke with SiriusXM’s The Morning Mash Up about her tour with the 34-year-old musician, revealing that she had the opportunity to chat with Taylor’s Kansas City Chiefs tight end beau before he joined her onstage.

“Before we both went on, we were in the tent, and he was like — he went on immediately before me, like two songs or something. He says, ‘I’ll mess up so you look really fantastic.'” Gracie, who joined Taylor onstage that night to perform their song “Us,” spoke about Travis’ appearance onstage.

On June 24, a source close to the couple told ET that Travis and the “So High School” singer had long planned to bring him onstage for a performance, and that the stars finally aligned over the weekend at Wembley Stadium.

According to ET, Travis’ presentation was flawless, including one romantic moment where he pretended to apply cosmetics to Taylor’s face before she began performing “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” — but he only had a few hours to pull it together.

“Taylor and Travis are doing amazing, and their loved ones see an engagement coming sooner than later,” according to a reliable source. “They make a great match and there’s no question about that.” Gracie is excited to be a part of Taylor’s Eras Tour.

“Every single person on the team is like, ‘Holy s**t.'” Hey.’ Big hugs. There were tears. I miss you so much. “See you again in the fall,” she said to The Morning Mash Up presenters Nicole Ryan, Ryan Sampson, and Stanley T. “The fact that we get to go back is so exciting and such a relief because I can’t imagine that tour not existing.”
