Fans Say New Clip of Taylor Swift Taking a Break During the Eras Tour ‘Feels Illegal to See’

Fans say it “feels illegal to see” the latest behind-the-scenes style glimpse of Taylor Swift taking a quick water break at the Eras Tour.

A video of the moment was posted online over the weekend, though it was taken earlier this month during the singer’s second of three nights in Gelsenkirchen, Germany on July 18.

In the clip shared via TikTok, she strutted to the end of the stage as she concluded “I Knew You Were Trouble,” the second-to-last song of the Red era, before turning around and walking partially back up the catwalk to meet one of her dancers who was waiting with a towel and a glass of water.

It’s a moment that was once shrouded in darkness, but with the sun setting later in that part of Europe, the stage remained illuminated enough to see the interaction.

The electrical lighting was dimmed for the transition to the final song played from the album, the 10-minute version of “All Too Well.”

Swift took a sip from the straw before using the towel to remove some of the sweat from her face. The fan who uploaded the video, named Vanessa, wrote, “this feels illegal to see,” over the clip, adding, “…just a mini break in a 3 1/2 hour concert ♥️,” in the caption of her TikTok upload.

Some were equally surprised to see the basic human gesture from the superstar, with one writing, “WOW she’s a real human,” another expressing gratitude that she was able to “stay hydrated during the show.”

But most fans demanded the details of her makeup routine, seeing as “she JUST SCRUBBED HER FACE” to mop up the sweat “and her make up stayed put.”

“What lipstick does this woman use?!” another asked specifically, calling it “life-proof,” while someone else begged for the name of the setting spray. “she’s ethereal,” another fan declared, while yet another questioned if the makeup was tattooed on.

“she rubbed her face and it still looks stunning but my makeup gets gross and comes off after a little bit and I gotta touch up,” another mourned.

While Swift does reveal her secrets here and there, like her penchant for NARS’ Dragon Girl, we fear we may never know the full details.
