Fans are Convinced Taylor Swift’s NYC Outfit Sent a Hidden Message

    Taylor Swift Wears Black Blazer and Chloé Boots to Dinner With Parents

    Multi-Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter Taylor Swift once again made waves on Friday night after photos of her made their rounds on social media. Swift was spotted out and about in New York City as she went to dinner with her parents, Scott and Andrea Swift, as well as her good friend Ashley Avignone.

    Swift, the girlfriend of Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, captured the attention of fans with her all-black outfit amid the chilly winter weather in the Big Apple.

     

     

    The 35-year-old artist wore a double-breasted black coat over a black mini dress/skirt. She also had black sheer tights, which she paired with black knee-high leather boots.

    Fans on social media also noticed that Swift’s nails were painted black. While some might consider this as nothing more than a coincidence, Swifties are convinced that their idol sent a hidden message with her NYC ensemble.

    For context, the colors of Swift’s nails hold a significant meaning for her fans. In the lead-up to her first “Eras Tour” show back in March 2023, the pop megastar shared a series of behind-the-scenes photos from her rehearsals.

     

     

    One of the pictures showed her nails painted in different colors, which fans interpreted as a representation of her different “Eras.”

    The black nail polish on her right thumb is supposed to represent her “Reputation” era, which is her sixth studio album released in November 2017.

    Swift has been re-recording her old albums after a dispute with her former record label. At this point, the re-release of “Reputation (Taylor’s Version)” appears to be next in line after re-recordings of her previous four albums have already been made available.

    In line with this, Swifties are adamant that her black nails and her all-black NYC fit (black is the color associated with her “Reputation” era) mean that she’s getting ready to re-release “Reputation.”

     

     

    “Look her nails , I’m scared rep tv on the way,” a comment on X read.

    “girlie wants the nails shown so bad,” observed another.

    “scared because the pose is giving look at my nails ” a fan claimed.

    “Rep TV is on the way and I’m scared but excited at the same time,” reacted a supporter.

    “oh reptv is SO being announced soon,” declared another.

    “Oohhhhh THIS is the rep era outfits I’ve been looking for,” wrote a Swiftie.

    Whether Swift sent a secret message or not, her fans have no other choice at this point but to wait patiently for her “Reputation” announcement — if and when it comes.
