WrestleMania announcers make subtle Taylor Swift reference while talking about Jason Kelce

Nobody can resist making a Taylor Swift reference when it comes to the Kelce family. And WrestleMania is just the latest to do it.

Former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce made a guest appearance at WrestleMania 40, jumping in to help Rey Mysterio and Andrade finish the job over Dominik Mysterio and Santos Escobar. He was joined by his teammate Lane Johnson and the two wore Eagles themed masks.

However while he was in the ring, Peacock commentator Michael Cole asked, ‘isn’t that what’s her name’s brother-in-law?’

It was a clear reference to Swift.

Cole is a Pittsburgh Steelers fan and blamed his lack of knowledge on the duo on that. However, fellow host Pat McAfee couldn’t help but have some fun with the entire thing.

He broke out into song, singing a line from her hit song ’22,’ from her fourth album, ‘Red.’

The singer has become a part of the famous NFL family ever since her relationship with Travis Kelce went viral. Everyone loves catching little glimpses of her sharing moments with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, along with fun interactions between her and the rest of the Kelce family.

And Jason made a strong impression on Swift, having met her in person for the first time at the Chiefs-Buffalo Bills playoff game.

That was of course when he decided to take his shirt off in the freezing cold temperature to celebrate Travis’ touchdown.

But regardless, Travis admitted after that game that “Tay said she absolutely loved you.”

So now we just have to hear about what she thinks about Jason’s WrestleMania stunt.
