It appears Travis Kelce has made up his mind about his future with the Kansas City Chiefs. While the three-time Super Bowl champ has not announced his decision, it seems it is now a matter of when rather than if.
His brother, Jason Kelce, recently said that deep down, the Chiefs star “already knows what he wants to do.” On Tuesday, Chiefs general manager Brett Veach revealed the belief within the team is Kelce will be back for the upcoming season.
However, Kelce’s decision reportedly comes with a major catch. According to a new report by Daily Mail, 2025 is very likely going to be Kelce’s swan song.
“There is a high likelihood that this will be his last year in the NFL, and he will not sign a new contract,” Daily Mail’s source revealed.
The report stated an announcement from the 10-time Pro Bowler and the Chiefs is imminent.
“The only thing not confirmed is if he will mention that this would be his last year or not,” adds Daily Mail’s source. “But he is looking forward to playing.”
Based on this new report, Kelce will be back next season. It also seems like he has made up his mind on this being his final playing year in the NFL.
