Superstar tight end Travis Kelce was the target of a somewhat brutal social media taunting that swiftly went viral on X after the Kansas City Chiefs lost their season opener to the Buffalo Bills in Week 11.
Just after the score was finalized, Bleacher Report reported, “JOSH ALLEN AND THE BILLS HAND CHIEFS THEIR FIRST LOSS SINCE CHRISTMAS 2023 ,” but the graphic with a Taylor Swift theme caught people’s attention.

The Bills quarterback is seen in the picture grinning at Kelce, who is seated next to him and crying excessively while Swift’s song “Is It Over Now? (Taylor’s Version)” plays. This post has received over 83,000 likes and 3.1 million views in less than a day.
“This graphic is crazy ,” one of the top-liked responses read. While another user replied: “Oh nahh yall been waiting to use this graphic .”
Others celebrated the Chiefs finally losing in the comment section. Although a couple of NFL fans did show KC some support too.
“Bills acting like they won the Super Bowl ,” one wrote. While another predicted that the “Chiefs still getting that 3-peat.”
In the movie “The Dark Knight,” actor Aaron Eckhart (Harvey Dent) made a memorable statement. “You either live long enough to become the villain or you die a hero.”
Folks, it’s obvious that the Chiefs have survived long enough to rank as the NFL’s worst villain in 2024.
The New England Patriots, the final football dynasty before Kansas City, previously held this accolade. But it’s obvious that the torch has been passed given the Chiefs’ recent success, Patrick Mahomes’ supremacy, and the Kelce-Swift dynamic.
The NFL community had been waiting for someone to beat Kansas City, and judging by the volume of likes and views this graphic received, most people were pleased that Buffalo had done it.
Fortunately for Chiefs Kingdom, a third consecutive Super Bowl run is still very much in the cards, and the season does not finish in Week 11.
They may even be given another matchup with the Bills to get there.
