Earlier this week Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid revealed his message to star tight end Travis Kelce as he ponders whether or not to return for the 2025 NFL season.
“That’s up to Travis. At this point just get out of town and relax. You know, that’s kind of my motto for these guys,” Reid said.
“They’ve played a lot of games for a consistent amount of seasons here and so you get to the end of the thing and you’ve exhausted yourself mentally and physically. Step back and take care of that and then we’ll talk. For right now I think that’s what he’s doing.”
As it turns out, Kelce heeded his coach’s word. A new report from Page Six revealed Kelce and girlfriend Taylor Swift enjoyed a “private, romantic” getaway following the 40-22 Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
“A source exclusively tells Page Six that the pop superstar and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end have returned to the States following an international vacation where they spent some time alone,” Page Six wrote.
“Taylor and Travis had a really nice time reconnecting after a very busy year,” the source told Page Six. The couple even returned back to the United States without much fanfare, allowing them to sneak out for a date night without being spotted by paparazzi.
“Taylor and Travis have stepped out for a date night since returning to the US but went unnoticed when they did so. They weren’t photographed or anything, and enjoyed a low-key night out on the town together,” the source said.
It’s a rare moment for the two superstars to venture into public without being inundated with cameras and fans.
