Travis Kelce Error Ends Teammates Night in Chiefs’ First Game

The Kansas City Chiefs already have an injury concern with wide receiver Xavier Worthy in the Week 1 game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Worthy got banged up on the first offensive series of the game for the Chiefs. Worthy ran into his own teammate and went down to the ground before staying there for a bit. Thankfully, Worthy was able to walk off under his own power, but he was clearly in pain. Here’s the latest update on the Chiefs wide receiver. The Chiefs announced that Worthy is questionable to return with a shoulder injury.

Worthy was spotted walking to the locker room after coming off the field. Here’s a look at the play in which he got hurt. This is obviously terrible news for the Chiefs, who are already missing Rashee Rice and Jalen Royals. Worthy appeared to be favoring either his arm or shoulder as he walked off the field and got checked on the sideline by trainers. We’ll update this page when more information becomes available.
