Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are 12-1 heading into their Week 15 game against the Cleveland Browns (3-10) on Sunday. Given the number of injuries the Chiefs have suffered since the preseason, they have performed admirably.
The Chiefs have dominated teams such as the Baltimore Ravens, San Francisco 49ers, and the Los Angeles Chargers. Kansas City’s only loss in 2024 was a 30-21 defeat to the Buffalo Bills. Travis Kelce and Mahomes is concerned about the challenges that the Chiefs face.
The Chiefs will play the Browns on the road on Sunday, then host the Texans next Saturday before going to Pittsburgh for a Christmas Day game the following Wednesday – a three-game stretch in just 11 days. Travis Kelce, the Chiefs TE, expressed dissatisfaction with the forthcoming schedule, claiming it is bad for players’ bodies.
“It is not a good feeling,” Kelce explained. “I’m thrilled to play on Christmas to hopefully make up for what we did last year [when the Chiefs lost to the Raiders on Christmas], but you never want to play so many games in such a short period of time. It’s simply not good for your body. But, at the end of the day, it’s your work and career. You must come to work and accomplish it.”
