Following a botched throw and catch against the Carolina Panthers, Travis Kelce displayed his unmistakable annoyance with Patrick Mahomes in a rare moment of discontent for his close friend.
The Panthers had one of the poorest records in the league going into the game, so the Kansas City Chiefs were in for a much harder fight than anticipated.
Mahomes’ throw to his open tight was a little off target, but it was still a catchable pass on a typical pattern where Kelce paused around ten yards downfield.

Kelce was unable to hold onto the ball long enough to finish the catch after it struck him in the hands.
Kelce stares at Mahomes in exasperation as soon as the ball touches the ground, and he throws his arms out in response to the pass’s trajectory.
As he approached the huddle, Kelce remained irate and began to hurl an expletive about the circumstance on camera.
As the tight end concluded the 30-27 victory over the Panthers with the most receptions on the Chiefs, six, Kelce and Mahomes finally found common ground.
For 269 yards and three touchdowns, Mahomes completed 27 of 37 attempts.
The Chiefs managed to go back in the win column and kept the NFL’s best record at 10-1 despite Taylor Swift missing two consecutive games.
With 62 yards at the end of the game, Kelce was just behind former tight end Noah Gray, who had 66 yards and two touchdowns that day.
As time ran out, a 33-yard Mahomes run and a field goal from Spencer Shrader gave the Chiefs the victory.
