The top player for the Kansas City Chiefs, Travis Kelce, celebrated his 35th birthday in style on October 5 at the Kelce Car Jam event in Missouri. He shared a heartfelt embrace with his mother, Donna.
Although it appeared to be a private moment—the football player only hugged his mother immediately after leaving the stage and addressing the assembled crowd—fans were able to witness the endearing exchange.
Prior to making the touching move with his mother, he gave the crowd a peace sign. He was wearing a gray and white t-shirt, sunglasses, a baseball cap, and supporter of his Eighty-Seven & Running Foundation.
The tight end has always had a good relationship with his parents and older brother, whom he believes saved his career during a year-long suspension while he was a college student.
In addition, he enjoys tight relationships with his sister-in-law and Patrick and Brittany Mahomes. Since starting to date Taylor Swift in August 2023, his fame has skyrocketed.
It turns out that all of those attendees—aside from the Eras Tour headliner, who was unable to attend—showed up at Kelce Car Jam to honor the Chiefs player, giving him a much-needed emotional boost after a difficult start to the 2024–2025 NFL season.
The three-time Super Bowl champion has been involved in philanthropic work this past weekend, but on October 7 at Arrowhead Stadium in Missouri, he plans to celebrate with a win over the New Orleans Saints.
The Chiefs lead the AFC West going into the game and have a perfect 4-0 record that includes victories against the Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens. The Saints are at.500.
“How about we go get a win on Monday night,” Kelce said to cheers from the crowd. “How about that? You guys up for that?”
