About a year after making their relationship public at a Kansas City Chiefs game, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are still very much in love.
The pair is apparently passionate about their future together, despite not being engaged. The Grammy Award-winning musician is reportedly ready for the “next era” of her life, and Us Weekly reports that Kelce—a three-time Super Bowl champion and standout tight end for the Chiefs—will likely be a major part of it.
“Taylor and Travis are very committed and serious about their future,” a source told Us Weekly. “Taylor is ready for the next era of her life. She knows it will be special.”
Beyond the flash and glamour of their public lives, Swift and Kelce have a kinship. They enjoy simple, private moments together, which is an underappreciated component of their relationship.
They both enjoy staying in and making supper together, according to a source who spoke with Us Weekly. It’s a welcome diversion from the continual attention they get from people outside of their houses.
“Staying in is a luxury for them. They enjoy cooking dinner together. It’s a refreshing contrast to their [public] lives,” the source said.
It seems like their relationship is thriving despite the hectic NFL season. Swift has demonstrated her growing ties to Kelce’s world by attending two recent Chiefs games.
“She’s loved being around the football community,” Us Weekly reported. “It’s a reprieve from work for her, and Travis is excited she’s fully ingrained in his world.”
While it’s uncertain if Swift will be there at the Chiefs’ next game on September 22 against the Falcons, her attendance at other games indicates that she is still a positive influence in Kelce’s life.
Their relationship seems to be developing organically, as they both take solace in striking a balance between their prominent occupations and times of simple living.
