Following the Kansas City Chiefs‘ blowout loss the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX, tight end Travis Kelce and his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, kept a low profile.
While rumors swirled for weeks that Kelce may be ready to retire from the NFL, Kelce announced his decision to return for the 2025 season on his “New Heights” podcast.
“The biggest thing is that I [expletive] love playing the game of football,” the 35-year-old All-Pro said. “I still think I can play at a high level and possibly at a higher level than I did last year.
“I feel like there’s a responsibility in me to play out the contract that I initially signed, to give Kansas City and the Chiefs organization everything that I got, and that’s what I’m gonna do, man.”

While Kelce prepares to return to work, fans are convinced Swift quietly did as well after Lady Gaga released her seventh album, “Mayhem,” on March 7.
Numerous Swifties flooded social media with claims she sings the background vocals on the ninth track, “How Bad Do U Want Me.”
The pop song is so reminiscent of the 14-time Grammy winner’s vibe, Variety wrote in their album review, “‘How Bad Do U Want Me’ is, quite plainly, cast in the same mold as Taylor Swift’s ‘Blank Space.'”
While Swift is expected to release new music this year, an insider told Page Six that the 35-year-old did not collaborate on Gaga’s latest album. The source told the outlet “false” suggestions of Swift’s involvement in “How Bad Do U Want Me” are “not true.”
Swift, who wrapped her record-breaking “Eras Tour” in December, and released her 11th studio album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” last April, is getting some much-needed rest.
