According to an exclusive source who spoke to Page Six, Taylor Swift “handmade” a very special present for Golden Raye, the newborn girl that Brittany and Patrick Mahomes welcomed on Sunday.
According to reports, the pop star “handmade a baby blanket” for the former soccer player and the quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs.
“Taylor is so looking forward to meeting Brittany and Patrick’s baby girl and she couldn’t be more thrilled for her friends,” the insider says.
“Taylor’s aunt knitted her a baby blanket when she was a child so it’s always had a special meaning for her and something she wanted to do for her friends,” the source tells us.
When Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Chariah Gordon and her fiancé Mecole Hartman Jr. welcomed their baby last year, the 35-year-old Grammy winner “did the same thing” for them.
“It’s become a tradition for Taylor, something she loves doing and something that can’t be bought. It comes from the heart,” the insider explains.
Early in 2024, 26-year-old Hartman and 29-year-old Gordon welcomed their daughter, Ci. In February 2023, Mecole III, their shared son, was born.
Page Six’s request for comment was not immediately answered by a Swift representative.
After getting married in 2022, Brittany and Patrick welcomed a boy, Patrick “Bronze” Lavon III, in November 2023, and a daughter, Sterling Skye, in February 2021.
The 29-year-old couple may not be finished raising their children just yet, as we previously reported.
Although he’s “good with three [kids] for right now,” Patrick acknowledged that he isn’t ruling out having additional children with his wife “down the line.”
During a press conference on Tuesday, the NFL player stated that baby No. 4 is “maybe” a possibility.
“My goal was always three. So we’ve had three,” the Super Bowl champion said. “We’ll stick there for a while and see if we need to come back and get another one later on.”
“It’s cool to welcome another baby girl in our family and see how our kids react to her,” he added. “Having baby sissy and stuff like that.”
