After finishing her record-breaking Eras Tour on Sunday, December 8 in Vancouver, the 34-year-old pop artist tweeted a carousel of photographs from her time onstage.
Swift captioned the series of shots with words from her fan-favorite ballad, “All Too Well,” and included a pair of behind-the-scenes photos: one of her standing inside the “cleaning cart” that sneaked her to the stage, and another with her backup dancers, singers, and band.
“It was rare. I was there. Swift added, “I remember it,” and ended with a heart emoji. PEOPLE reported earlier this week that Swift’s touring crew, which included truck drivers and caterers, production assistants, dancers, and others, received $197 million in incentives in addition to their pay.
Following her 149th and last event, Taylor Swift Touring reported to the New York Times that the Eras Tour had drawn over 10 million people and sold more than $2 million in tickets.
At the end of her December 8 show, Swift reflected on her globe tour, saying, “We’ve had so many adventures. It has been the most thrilling, powerful, exhilarating, difficult, and challenging thing I’ve ever done in my life.”
Before playing “Karma” (the final song on her setlist), the singer thanked fans for being a “part of the most thrilling chapter of my entire life to date.”
Swift gathered the artists on stage for a group hug before embracing them individually as she took her final bow. On December 10, Swift’s long-time bassist, Amos Heller, commented on his own “ride of a lifetime” on the Eras Tour.
“You command so much respect and admiration from everyone who’s fortunate enough to add their effort to yours,” he wrote to the poet. “Your combination of attention, heart, stamina, and joy brings out the best in everyone around you. Thank you for entrusting me with this aspect of your vision. It was the ride of a lifetime. “I love you.”
