The pop artist, 35, provided a master class in date-night attire on Friday, December 27, while out in New York City for a dinner date with boyfriend Travis Kelce and friends Margaret Qualley and Jack Antonoff. The centerpiece? A sparkly spin on a Stella McCartney blazer made of tweed.

Swift looked stunning in the $5,500 hand-embroidered Crystal Cage Oversized Blazer from the designer for the double date at BondST Restaurant, a Japanese restaurant.

With its boxy design and padded shoulders, the wool double-breasted blazer from McCartney’s Fall 2024 collection conjures ’80s officewear, especially when worn with the corresponding pencil skirt.

However, the singer-songwriter gave the beige blazer a contemporary makeover by accessorizing it with a stylish, almost entirely black ensemble.

To make the beige stand out, she put the large jacket over what looked to be a black minidress or a miniskirt and matching top. This was especially noticeable next to her 35-year-old NFL star partner, who was wearing a cardigan in the same shade.

The 14-time Grammy winner added a bit extra texture with her sheer black tights, which were patterned like diamonds, and tied in the blazer’s distinctive trim, which was a sizable section of crystalline cage paneling.

Swift accessorized with Versace’s Crystal La Medusa Mini Bag to add a little more sparkle and paired the ensemble with black stiletto ankle boots.

At $3,490, the boxy, crystal-encrusted small handbag comes with the Italian fashion house’s La Medusa hardware, which is probably another reference to Reputation (Taylor’s Version).

The singer wore her hair down in a basic style with her signature, wind-swept side bangs front and center, and she rocked a muted, red-orange lip in a subtle (and very Swiftian) burst of color.
