Taylor Swift Reveals Reason for Skipping Chiefs-Falcons Game

Taylor Swift Makes Decision On Kansas City's Week 5 Game

Taylor Swift was noticeably absent during Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs’ Week 3 game against the Atlanta Falcons, a decision that sparked plenty of talks and jokes since she attended the team’s first two games of the 2024 NFL season.

Apparently, however, the pop star has a good reason for doing so. For those not in the know, Swift was seen hanging out with her model friend, Gigi Hadid, the night prior to the Chiefs-Falcons showdown at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

According to an insider from The US Sun who has knowledge of the situation, that’s part of the reason why she was absent.

Swift reportedly wanted to spend some time with her friends as well before her concert break ends. The renowned musician is currently resting from her Eras Tour, which will resume on October 18.

“Going to the game in Atlanta wasn’t possible because she had scheduled time with some friends, like Gigi Hadid, whom she spent time with on the weekend, and other friends that she hasn’t seen in a while,” The US Sun insider explained.

The same report noted that Swift needed to make some preparations for the resumption of her Eras Tour concert, which is also why she couldn’t make it to the September 22 clash.

For what it’s worth, S=Taylor Swift is still determined to attend as much Chiefs games as she can this season and support her boyfriend Travis Kelce. With that being said, she is reportedly planning to watch Kansas City’s Week 4 clash with the Los Angeles Chargers.
