On Saturday, Taylor Swift posted about Team USA using her song “…Ready for It?” in NBC’s promotional video for the Olympic games. The NBC Olympics handle shared the video on X, formerly Twitter and tagged Swift in it.

“Baby Let The Games Begin. #WeAreReadyForIt,” they wrote. “Primetime in Paris: 8/7c on NBC and Peacock #ParisOlympics.”

Swift then shared the video in her Instagram Stories, writing over it, “So ready to scream at my TV cheering for these athletes .”

The Eiffel Tower makes a prominent appearance in the promo as does a cheering crowd. It also shows the Olympic rings and members of Team USA make appearances, including LeBron James and Simone Biles. At the end of the video, Biles asks, “Are you guys ready for it?”

Swift isn’t the only major American star to make promotional connections at the 2024 Olympics. Beyoncé helped introduce the team with her song “YA YA” from her album Cowboy Carter. She mentioned by name team members Noah Lyles, Sha’Carri Richardson, Caeleb Dressel, Katie Ledecky, and Simone Biles in her pre-recorded video kicking off the big event.

“Come on, you’ve got to love Noah and Sha’Carri, the fastest man and woman on the planet. They’ll race the world anytime, anyplace. How about Caeleb? Proud papa, back in the drink for more gold. And Katie, the longer the race, the better she swims. And I know you know my girl Simone—born to fly, destined to inspire,” Beyoncé said in her video. “We’ve got superstars and we’ve got legends, we’ve got big dreamers who’ve fought their whole lives to get here, who gave up everything for one shot and made it.”

She continued, “That pride and that joy, that’s what gets me about this team and that’s what makes me believe in this team. And that’s why I can’t wait to see what they pull over these next 16 days. America, give it up for Team USA. The very best of who we are. What a vision to behold. What a team to believe in. What a night to celebrate.”
